You can only distinguish it through the context and when it is still not clear the personal pronoun must be mentioned,
But in my whole life i never encountered a situation where it was confusing
The ت is always accompanies the fem. pronoun هي in past as suffix
● Distinctive sign ends with/t has sukun
كتبت قرأت ذهبت جلست ….
and present as prefix
تكتب تقرأ تذهب تجلس …..
Also for انت
كتبت قرأت ذهبت جلست …
● Distinctive sign ends with/ t has dammah
■ For present they are both same
