Many Christians would claim that Jesus is also the God of the Old Testament. According to their line of reasoning , one would have to say that the actions and orders of God in the Old Testament are not only His, but also of Jesus; one in the same.
Now, to the topic at hand, what is the stance of Jesus on Abortion?
Hosea 13:16 (NIV)
The people of Samaria must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open.
As you can see from the following verse in the Old Testament, Jesus is allowing abortions to occur on to a group of people who have rebelled against God.
From this we can infer, that under Judeo-Christian laws, it should be allowed for women to have abortions because it is not considered a ‘heinous act’. After all, why would God/Jesus allow, sanction and order His followers to perform such procedures on others?
